AMADAT User Guidelines

AMADAT (Arabic Multi-Dialectal Transcription tool) allows you to listen to segmented audio recordings of spoken language (such as telephone conversations) and to transcribe speech at two levels (which we will call "Green" and "Yellow" for short--see below for details), and also provides for one Correction level (which we'll call Red).

GREEN: this is the MSA-based transcription (MSAT)

YELLOW: this is the Arabic Orthographic System-based Transcription (AOST)

RED: this level is for authorized persons only!
