Doing a keyword search You'll be working with the emacs window labeled "TSEARCH".  Within that window, type the word or phrase you'd like to search for.  Use normal capitalization:

After you've typed in the keyword(s), you must save the emacs file by typing Cntrl-x Cntrl-c, or pulling down "Save Buffer" from the FILE menu.

Now return to the green "Untitled" FSD interface window, and conduct a search against your keyword(s).  To do this, set the search parameters to "on file", as shown below, and click "Submit":

The search engine will return a list of stories that contain your keyword(s), which can be rank-ordered and chronologically ordered.

To conduct another keyword search, return to the "TSEARCH" emacs window, erase the previous phrase and type in a new keyword.  Be sure to save the file prior to every search!
