Task:
        The task for part 3
            a) active editing of transcripts
            b) correction and insertion of timestamps
            c) application of ldc conventions
            d) second-passing the completed files
 

 Conventions to use for SBCSAE transcription

Instructions:
    On the command line run:

%  /pkg/ldc/talkbank/applications/teltrans/bin/csae2

An empty split screen window will appear - from the drop down menu under "File" select an audio file "file.wav" from PART 3,

/mnt/unagi/spd22/CSAE/trans_pt3/

and after this has been loaded, the corresponding transcript file (ending in .txt)

Please NOTE  - it still takes a moment to load the wav file.

Entering timestamps
    These transcripts do contain the timestamp for apparent starting point of the utterences.

    When you use Cntrl-g to enter a timestamp, note that there is a red indicator that flashes to the left of the transcription row that indicates the changed time has been registered.

Copy line  from transcript Control -e if you select a time in the waveform, THEN use this shortcut, the line will be copies with the new timestamp
Insert new time  Control - g   tricky at the moment - please be certain that the time is correct. 
Zoom in to waveform  by 10% Control -i
Zoom out from waveform  by 10% Control -o
Select waveform region  M1 - drag/release
Expand waveform region  to the right  Control -v
Compress waveform region from the right  Control -c
Expand waveform region to the left  Control -z
Compress waveform region from the left  Control -x
Mouse control 
select waveform region  M2 - drag/release
Editing movement   Control - arrow keys left/right  it is not possible to use control up/down to skip between the same line
Go to start of line being edited  Control - a
Go to end of line being edited   Control - e
