Folks,

The UMass TDTEval software for TDT1 is available in compressed tar
form via the following URL:

ftp://jaguar.ncsl.nist.gov/tdt98/tdteval-1_0.tar.Z

We have made the UMass software available as-is. So, for the time
being, please send any questions regarding the software to James Allan
(allan@cs.umass.edu) and cc myself (john.garofolo@nist.gov) and Jon
Fiscus (jfiscus@nist.gov). We will be developing new scoring code for
the TDT2 (TDT98) evaluations over the next few weeks and will make
Beta-test components available as they are ready. As always, your
suggestions are welcome and helpful.
