the IBM - DARPA Workshop. I have included information needed to make your
hotel reservations and automobile rentals. Please read carefully, this is

IBM - DARPA Workshop
The IBM rates for this hotel are $93.00 for a standard room and $103 for a
King. For those of you who wish to make reservations at this establishment
please ensure you reference "IBM - DARPA Workshop". It is imperative that
you make your reservation as soon as possible. The cut-off date for these
rooms is Wednesday, September 9, 1998. As of this date those of you who

MT. KISCO HOLIDAY INN
DIRECTIONS TO HOTEL
>From points north: via 1-684. Take 1-684 south to exit 5 which is marked
"Saw Mill Parkway." Continue on Saw Mill Parkway 3.7 miles to Kisco
Avenue, exit #37.
Turn left at bottom of exit ramp onto Kisco Avenue. Turn left onto Holiday
Inn Drive immeadiately past Nissan/Volvo dealer.
>From points south: via Saw Mill Parkway. Take Saw Mill Parkway north to
"Kisco Avenue" exit #37, At bottom of ramp turn left onto
Kisco Avenue. Make a second left and this will be Holiday Inn Drive.
>From points south; via 1-684: I-684 north to exit 4 marked "Bedford/Mt.
Kisco". At bottom of ramp turn left onto Route 172. Follow Route 172 to
end at route 117
(Northern Westchester Hospital here). Bear right at this intersection and
continue through town. (Pass under 3 traffic lights). At 4th light bear
left
onto Route 133. Go through one more light. Immediately past Railroad
overpass turn right onto Kisco Avenue for .7 mile. Turn right onto Holiday
Inn Drive just
before Nissan/Volvo dealer.

Kennedy International:
Van Wyck Expressway, Whitestone Bridge. Hutchinson River Parkway. I-684
to exit 4.
Laguardia:
Grand Central Parkway (eastbound). Whitestone Bridge via Van Wyck

>From Hawthorne I and II Buildings
Route 9A north approximately 0.5 miles to Saw Mill River Parkway north.
Proceed to Taconic State Parkway exit, then north to Route 134 exit. Turn

proceed east on Route 134 several hundred yards. IBM is on the right.
Upper and Eastern New England
Route I-84 west to Route I-684, south to Exit 6, west on Route 35 to Route
100, south to Route 134, west 2.5 miles. IBM is on the left.
New Haven and Connecticut Shores
Merritt Parkway or New England Thruway (Route I-95) west to Route I-287,
west to Exit 3, north on Sprain Brook Parkway, which merges into Taconic
State
Parkway, north to Route 134 exit. Turn right and proceed east on Route 134
several hundred yards. IBM is on the right.
New Jersey
New York State Thruway (Route I-87) east across the Tappan Zee Bridge to
Exit 8, east on Cross Westchester Expressway (Route I- 287) briefly to Exit
1, north
on Saw Mill River Parkway to Taconic State Parkway exit, north to Route 134
exit. Turn right and proceed east on Route 134 several hundred yards. IBM

Upstate New York
Route I-84 east across Newburgh-Beacon Bridge to Exit 16-S. Taconic State
Parkway south to Route 134 East exit. Turn right and proceed east on Route

New York City (Manhattan)
Henry Hudson Parkway north, which becomes Saw Mill River Parkway, north to
Taconic State Parkway exit. North on Taconic State Parkway to Route 134
exit.

John F. Kennedy International Airport
North on Van Wyck Expressway to the Whitestone Expressway and continue
north across the Bronx-Whitestone Bridge to the Hutchinson River Parkway
north to
the Cross County Parkway exit and proceed west to the Bronx River Parkway.
North on the Bronx River Parkway to the Sprain Brook Parkway, which merges
into the Taconic State Parkway. Continue north to Route 134 exit. Turn

LaGuardia Airport
East on the Grand Central Parkway, north on the Whitestone Expressway, and
continue north across the Bronx-Whitestone Bridge. Continue with

Newark International Airport
North on the New Jersey Turnpike (Route I-95). Stay in local lanes and take
Exit 72 for Palisades Interstate Parkway. North on the Palisades
Interstate Parkway
to the New York State Thruway, Route I-87, and east across the Tappan Zee
Bridge. Continue with instructions from New Jersey, above.
Stewart International Airport
Route 207 east to Route I-84, east across Newburgh-Beacon Bridge to Taconic
State Parkway, south. Continue with instructions from Upstate New York,
above.
Westchester County Airport
Right on Route 120, north. Turn left where Route 120 merges with Route 133.
Continue on Route 120. Cross Route 100 and continue straight on Shingle
House
Road to Pines Bridge Road. Turn right and proceed several hundred yards.
