If you are interested in the accuracy of CC transcriptions, that is
something that might be assessed relatively easily within the TDT
program. While this is not currently a planned activity, perhaps
it should be addressed. We should at least discuss it.
Regarding the accuracy of story markers, my impression on this is that
the notion of a "story" is so subjective and so much a function of the
application that an assessment wouldn't be very meaningful. There does
exist a basis for doing such an assessment on TDT data (because the CC
story boundaries were audited and corrected by LDC), but I doubt that
the results of such an assessment would give you the insight you desire.
