Folks,

I've prepared a new release of the TDT2 evaluation software and dev-test
index files for the soon to be shipped combined training and dev-test
TDT2 corpus. The resources are at the URLS:

This release fixes all known bugs, at the time of the workshop, and
implements a few new things. See the revisions in the documentation for
details, the quick synopsis is:

Fixes:
- ASR NEWS stories w/o tokenized text are scored as errors.
- Evaluation order of the scource files are identical accross eval
tasks
- Each eval program includes an option to dump the verbose scoring of
all documents. This will help everyone debug their systems.
- the '-I' option to TDT2det.pl was replaced by '-i'. (-I conflicts
with
standard perl options.

New Stuff:
- DET dot plots for both segmentation and detection

Enhancements:
- Added a speedup option '-s' to all programs. This disables to use
of
SGMSLS to parse the corpus files and speeds up the test cases exec
time by 80%!
