Ron,

Thanks very much for spotting the erroneous "fileid" values in that
set of asrtext files. This set (like the set announced last week)
appears to have originated in the files provided to me by Dragon, and
I failed to check them before the Oct. 6 release.

Folks,

Ron Papka found that all six asrtext files for programs recorded on
19980217 had an incorrect "fileid" string: the initial line of each
file contained "<DOCSET type=ASRTEXT fileid=19980218...>" -- i.e. the
fileid shows the wrong date for the file.

I have looked at the content of these six files, and verified that
they do in fact contain the broadcasts that were recorded on 19980217
(even though the "fileid" string in the first line gives the next
day's date). I have also followed Ron's example and checked all the
fileid strings in all the asrtext files, to make sure there are no
more cases where the fileid is different from the file name. (I've
also done this now for all the tkntext and boundary table files.)

As with last week's patch, our ftp directory now has both the
incremental patch file (containing only the six asrtext files
mentioned above), and the cumulative patch set (containing all
modified asrtext files and ALL table files even though tables have
not changed since Oct. 11). Here again is the ftp mantra:

[ftp instructions available on request from graff@ldc.upenn.edu]

The file sizes are:

tdt_patch_981118.tar.gz 431067 bytes
tdt_tables_latest.tar.gz 6740600 bytes

Please accept my apologies for the inconveniences...
