a former naval academy cadet will serve a life sentence for her part
in the murder of a romantic rival. on tuesday, a texas jury convicted
diane zamora in the killing of a 16-year-old adrianne jones in 1995.
zamora testified, her boyfriend, former air force cadet david graham,
manipulated her into confessing to the crime. jones' family addressed
the courtroom after the verdict was read. i'll be able to remember
my daughter with pride and joy for the rest of my life, as she soars
free in this atmosphere above me, coming to me in dreams, coming to
me in visions, and coming to give me warmth. i'm grateful that i can
have that memory. i'm sorry that the zamora family won't have that
great memory. zamora's former fiance, david graham, will go on trial
for his part in the murder later this year. he's accused of firing
the two shots that killed jones.
