in denver today, the city held a parade to welcome home the super
bowl champion denver broncos. npr's mark roberts reports from denver.
from the size of the crowd in downtown denver, it looked like most
people took the day off from work or school to cheer their championship
football team. fans mobbed the buses carrying the players, to trade
handshakes and get autographs. for denver, after losing four super
bowls, the win over the green bay packers was especially sweet. broncos
quarterback john elway. how 'bout them broncos? i tell you what, there
are only so many times you can get hit right in the forehead with
a fist. but this time we did the punching. even mother nature seemed
to salute the broncos and their fans today, with blue skies and or
