Subject: TDT PI Meeting -- PLEASE RESPOND

Folks,
As previously announced, we will be holding a TDT PI meeting on Tuesday
evening at the DARPA Broadcast News Workshop. Every site that is planning
to participate in TDT3 should send at least one representative.
PLEASE LET ME KNOW exactly who will be attending this meeting.
(Some sites have submitted this information before, but I would
appreciate an up-to-date list from each site. We need to arrange
for meals and to tell the Hilton how to set up the room.)
The meeting location has changed. It will now be in the Hilton Ballroom,
which is directly across the hall from the workshop's main meeting room.
The time for our meeting is still nominally 7-9 p.m. However, the agenda
for the workshop itself has changed with the addition of a demo session
that is scheduled to run until 6:45 p.m. If the demo session runs later
than 6:45, we will start our meeting 15 minutes after the demos end.
Since there will be no time to get dinner between the demos and the TDT
meeting, we have asked the hotel to bring food to the meeting room. If
you would like something to eat, please see Eva Kingsbury (who is handling
workshop registration and administrative details) BEFORE 5 p.m. Tuesday,
telling her what you want (she will have a menu of choices) and paying her
(since Tuesday dinner is not covered by the workshop registration fee).
I look forward to a very productive (and busy) meeting.
