Jon and David:

I tried downloading and unpacking the index files
posted by Jon on Aug 12... and I get checksum errors
part way through the tar extract.

Anyone else have this problem? Or am I unpacking this
wrong?

The downloaded files have sizes:

3834171 indexes_oct_dry_run_as1_v1.tar.Z
3826459 indexes_oct_dry_run_asr_v1.tar.Z

Both files give me checksum error when trying to unpack
the first tracking index file:

indexes_oct_dry_run_asr_v1/trk_SRC=nwt+bnasr_TRAIN:SL=mul,CL=nat_TEST:SL=mul,CL=nat
