Folks,

Hi! so I'm finally back and acutally working :)

I see the following outstanding issues wrt. the the dry-run that need to
be addressed. If there are others, please surface them.

1. Index files for the dry-run:

The index files on our ftp site:
ftp://jaguar.ncsl.nist.gov/tdt3/indexes_oct_dry_run_as1_v1.tar.Z
ftp://jaguar.ncsl.nist.gov/tdt3/indexes_oct_dry_run_asr_v1.tar.Z

were developed for the "TDT2 release 2" data that was made available on
June 8th. As I see some people have noted, and I agree, the index files
do NOT work with release 3.1. It would take considerable effort to
transform them and too confusing to do so, so I'm working on a new set
for the dry run.

These new index files will be based on the TDT2 release 3.1 data that
has had Dave Graff's TDT2-v3-to-v2.perl ran on it. Hopefully this will
be completed Monday because I'm have some trouble with the scripts.

2. Story Link Detection index files:

A new set of the SLD index and key files will accompany the new release
of index files. (There are index files in the ftp of index files)
