Folks,
It time to plan for the TDT Dry Run Meeting. This is a one-day meeting
scheduled on Monday, August 7, 2000 at LDC in Philadelphia.
Since the Republican National Convention, also in Philadelphia, will
finish just a few days before our meeting, I would encourage all to
arrange travel and accommodations especially early.
Some of you may want to stay over Sunday night. The following hotels are
within 2 city blocks of the LDC.
The Inn At Penn, local: (215) 222-0200, 24 hours: (800) 222-8733,
3600 Sansom Commons
Penn Conference Rate $164 pp
Government Rate: $118 pp
Sheraton University City Hotel, local: (215) 387-8000, 24 hours:
(800) 325-3535, 36th & Chestnut
Penn Conference Rate $119 pp
Government Rate $118 pp
Rates depend upon availability. All participants must contact the hotels
directly to make their reservations. Given the time and size of the
conference the hotels were not able to reserve a block of rooms. However
both have confirmed availability now.
To obtain the government rate, government participants must make
reservations in advance, identify themselves as government employees
when making reservations and present their government employee ID upon
check-in.
To obtain the Penn conference rate, participants must make reservations
in advance and identify themselves as attending a "University of
Pennsylvania Conference" when making reservations and upon check-in.
