Folks,
In the course of updating the corpus, I realized I made the greivous
error of including the link detection key files in the index files
released on 20020906. In the interest of running a fair and honest
evaluation, DELETE all the *.key files within the index file directory
and do NOT use them in any way to run your systems.
I have created a new set of index files for the evaluation (in accord
with last night's proposal to fix the corpus). Please download the
corrected index files from the URL
'ftp://jaguar.ncsl.nist.gov/tdt/tdt2002/eval/tdt2002_indexfiles_v2.20020917.tgz'
and use these for all your submitted results.
Also, the attached email from Dave Graff indicates directions for
accessing the updated Mandarin MT ASR files. (attached)
I apologize for jeopoardizing the blindness of the TDT2002 evaluation.
I appeal to your integrity to delete the key files without looking at
them or using them in any way. I will send new key files at the
appropriate time.
