Folks,
The LDC is finishing up the adjudication of the TDT topic annotations
and will be sending them to us shortly. After that, we'll rescore and
re-issue the results.
>From my notes of the last TDT meeting, I'm unsure if we decided to
release or not release the TDT4 annotations after the evaluation. While
the ultimate decision will be up to the program manager, I'd like to
poll the community for their opinions. If you feel strongly either way,
please reply to this email.
As noted in the schedule on the TDT site, the workshop will be at NIST
on November 18-19. The registration information will be sent shortly
which will include a link to the registration web site and local hotel
information. This year, the registration fee will likely be $120.00.
On Monday I meet with the conference facilities personnel to finalize
the cost and other issues.
